================================================ Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Jagger's birthday is tomorrow. From: "Iwndr" To: "The New Improved Less Lame List" Date: Mon 21 Oct 2002 11:42:52 -0700 (PDT) ================================================ The show was great, although I have a hard time watching Brett - what can I say. Opening bands were The Color Green (local Los Angeles band) and Cinder. Unfortunately no Sevendust even though it was posted as that on the Windup page. Creed did not come on until about 15 minutes after the World Series game was over as many of the fans were watching the game on the monitors in the Staples Center. Scott thanked the crowd for coming back to the show after the cancellation and postponement. He also said that it seems every time they come out to the west coast something goes wrong and that maybe they should start their tours out here and then go east. I hope so. They only come to Los Angeles once. Every other venue is at least 2 hours away with no traffic. As it is, LA is around 1 hr drive for everyone around here that doesn't live downtown. Scott looked tired, kept his eyes closed, and broke out in a sweat early on. After a few songs he seemed more relaxed and smiled like he used to. They took small breaks between the songs and at times it seemed that Mark and Brett extended the guitar play to give Scott a break. His voice was really deep when he spoke. He mentioned that today was Jaggers birthday and said he wasn't sure where Jagger and Hillaree were but if he was still awake, that he loved them. Hillaree was walking toward the stage during the last song with Jagger in her arms. Scott also played guitar during one of the songs but I can't remember which one. I don't take paper with me to write down what they played but they started with Bullets. I'll post more about the songs (not necessarily the order) later on. And to answer the latest question - yes he did cut his hair. It's about chin length and looked good on him. --- Kimberly Reid wrote: > So HOW was the show?
